Learn the I Ching through small, familiar situations.
This is a study site for the Book of Changes. It explains how a hexagram is built, what the classical text actually says, and how to read it carefully. It does not predict the future and it makes no claims about outcomes — the engine is here to show you how the text is put together.

What this site is, and what it is not
Oriental Wisdom Journal is an educational site about the I Ching (the Book of Changes) and related classical Chinese thought. Lessons, the hexagram reference and the Tutor all describe structure, text and reading method. Nothing here is a prediction, a diagnosis, or advice on medical, legal, financial or psychological matters. You remain responsible for your own decisions.
